Why did you choose to work at Rainbow Pediatric Center? When my husband took a new job in Ponte Vedra and we officially decided to move from Tampa, I vowed that I would not settle for the first job that came my way. I wanted to do my research and make sure I joined a practice that matched the quality of care I like to give my patients. When reaching out to friends/colleagues in the area, Rainbow Pediatric Center came up numerous times. Within the first five minutes of shadowing Dr. Reddy at my interview, I knew there was nowhere else I wanted to be. The quality of care and attention to detail that goes into every aspect of the practice is unlike any primary care pediatric practice I have experienced.

What do you enjoy about working with kids? Kids make every day different and fun! I love being able to watch as my patients grow and change through all the milestones. Children’s curiosity, honesty, and positivity have me looking forward to every day.

What is your area of expertise? My degree is in primary care of pediatrics and I have worked the longest in this field. However, I did work at a Pediatric Gastroenterology practice before RPC so I do love caring for patients with GI/Nutrition concerns. I especially love caring for infants and toddlers with feeding concerns, poor weight gain, and protein intolerances. I know how stressful this can be for parents and I like being there every step of the way to help them get the nutrition they need so they can thrive and grow. I am also a Certified Lactation Counselor and enjoy providing support and guidance for breastfeeding mothers and their infants.

What do you enjoy doing when you are not at Rainbow Pediatrics? I love being outside riding my bike or walking on the beach. I also love working out – Pure Barre is my favorite! I enjoy reading and am always looking for a new book.

If you only had 3 words to describe yourself what would they be? Positive, diligent, and giving

What is your favorite children’s book?  This was a hard one for me because I have so many! If I had to choose one it would probably be Ruby the Copycat. It is a story with a message that there is nothing better than to be true to you!

Tell me about your family?  I got married to my wonderful husband in 2016 and we have a lazy orange cat named Cooper. We each have two sisters, and between his two sisters we have five nieces – so we are surrounded by girls and wouldn’t have it any other way! Our family lives all over from Ft. Lauderdale to Charlotte, North Carolina. We love going to visit them every chance we get.

One interesting fact about yourself? I was part of student government every year of school starting in third grade. I was my senior class president at the most populated high school in the entire nation.
