Why did you choose to work at Rainbow Pediatric Center? I learned about Rainbow through word-of-mouth and heard nothing but great things. One thing that caught my attention was the many resources Rainbow Pediatric provides such as mental health and asthma education. My goal was to find a practice that provided access to a variety of services; stays up-to-date on today’s technology and medicine; and gives off
fun, positive energy at the workplace. I found just that at Rainbow.
What do you enjoy about working with kids? Kids are unashamed and say it like it is! I also love watching them grow and being part of their healthy decision-making. They make work so exciting. I can’t imagine being in any other field!
What is your area of expertise? My area of expertise would be treating acute illnesses. Managing children’s care when they are sick and then seeing them shine again during their recovery is something I always strive to do in my practice.
What do you enjoy doing when you are not at Rainbow Pediatrics? Being outdoors, traveling, and hitting the gym.
If you only had 3 words to describe yourself what would they be? Optimistic, compassionate, energetic.
What is your favorite children’s book? I have two! ‘Love You Forever’ by Robert Munsch and ‘The Giving Tree’ by Shel Silverstein.
Tell me about your family? I’ve been married since May 2019 to my sweet husband who I met when we were only 15!
One interesting fact about yourself? I am very big on traveling and gaining new experiences. My first big travel experience was internationally, by myself, in Costa Rica – where I learned to surf! It was the most unforgotten adventure and surely opened the doors for many more.
