Why did you choose to work at Rainbow Pediatric Center? I chose to work at RPC because I found that the mission and goals of RPC really aligned with the way I desired to practice pediatric medicine. I love that RPC emphasizes the importance of being unhurried and respecting our patients and their families, times, and concerns. I wanted to work in a place and with people who took the time to get to know their patients and families, and I was encouraged and excited to see that RPC makes this their priority.

What do you enjoy about working with kids? I have always loved working and spending time with kids. I have always found that they keep me on my toes and constantly challenge me to think harder and consider different perspectives. I find that children are encouraging and their honesty is refreshing! Working with kids has always been a life-giving experience for me, making my decision to pursue primary care pediatrics an easy one!

What is your area of expertise? I chose primary care because I love watching a child develop and hit major milestones. I have a passion for the newborn stage and for mother/baby care. Following a long with a child and their family as they grow into the person they were meant to be is a gift, and I have always loved celebrating with them along the way.

What do you enjoy doing when you are not at Rainbow Pediatrics? I love going to the beach, reading, and baking!

If you only had 3 words to describe yourself what would they be? Caring, loyal, and empathetic.

Tell me about your family? I am from Houston, Texas and I have two sisters and a brother! I moved to Jacksonville with my boyfriend who is also from Houston. We have loved getting to know Jacksonville and are very happy to be here!

One interesting fact about yourself? I have wanted to be in pediatric medicine since i was 10 years old!
