Why did you choose to work at Rainbow Pediatric Center?   Dr. Reddy has a respected reputation among colleagues and I enjoyed listening to her weekly parenting talks on The Promise radio station.  Growing up in Jacksonville & working at Wolfson Children’s Hospital for 9 years, I am very familiar with most of the area pediatricians. When I chose to leave my position as and ARNP after 13 years I was very selective.  Dr. Reddy was at the top of my list and I was very blessed that she had a position available.

What do you enjoy about working with kids?   Kids are absolutely hilarious! Yes, they scream and cry but it  is such a great feeling to help a scared child overcome their fears or anxiety. What other job can you put a huge smile on a child’s crying face with just a lollipop?

What is your area of expertise? I enjoy teaching parents about how to become the best parent they can be for their child whether it be providing nutritional information, medical diagnosis and treatment or counseling a family through a difficult time. I also enjoy working with overweight teens to help build their self-esteem and achieve a healthier lifestyle.

What do you enjoy doing when you are not at Rainbow Pediatrics? I love being a mom! Nothing makes my day more than being able to drop my kids off at school or meet them at the bus stop. During the warmer months you will find our family boating or cheering on our little swimmers. I love crafting and cooking with my daughter or snuggling up on the couch for family movie night.

If you only had 3 words to describe yourself what would they be? Organized, Compassionate, Dedicated

What is your favorite children’s book? Sleepy Sheep’s Goodnight book. After four kids, I feel like I have this book memorized as I have read it almost every night over the course of the past 18 years! I love the way the book is written to help kids calm and wind down for bed with a Christian theme.

Tell me about your family? We are your modern day Brady bunch with a crazy mix of littles from preschool to high school!  Nothing like dealing with puberty and potty training!

One interesting fact about yourself? When I lived up in Amelia Island during middle school, I got to be an extra in the movie Pippi Longstocking. If you squint, turn your head sideways and look on the stairs of the church during the ice cream scene you will find me.

Why did you choose to work at Rainbow Pediatric Center? When my husband took a new job in Ponte Vedra and we officially decided to move from Tampa, I vowed that I would not settle for the first job that came my way. I wanted to do my research and make sure I joined a practice that matched the quality of care I like to give my patients. When reaching out to friends/colleagues in the area, Rainbow Pediatric Center came up numerous times. Within the first five minutes of shadowing Dr. Reddy at my interview, I knew there was nowhere else I wanted to be. The quality of care and attention to detail that goes into every aspect of the practice is unlike any primary care pediatric practice I have experienced.

What do you enjoy about working with kids? Kids make every day different and fun! I love being able to watch as my patients grow and change through all the milestones. Children’s curiosity, honesty, and positivity have me looking forward to every day.

What is your area of expertise? My degree is in primary care of pediatrics and I have worked the longest in this field. However, I did work at a Pediatric Gastroenterology practice before RPC so I do love caring for patients with GI/Nutrition concerns. I especially love caring for infants and toddlers with feeding concerns, poor weight gain, and protein intolerances. I know how stressful this can be for parents and I like being there every step of the way to help them get the nutrition they need so they can thrive and grow.

What do you enjoy doing when you are not at Rainbow Pediatrics? I love being outside riding my bike or walking on the beach. I also love working out – Pure Barre is my favorite! I enjoy reading and am always looking for a new book.

If you only had 3 words to describe yourself what would they be? Positive, diligent and giving

What is your favorite children’s book?  This was a hard one for me because I have so many! If I had to choose one it would probably be Ruby the Copycat. It is a story with a message that there is nothing better than to be true to you!

Tell me about your family?  I got married to my wonderful husband in 2016 and we have a lazy orange cat named Cooper. We each have two sisters, and between his two sisters we have five nieces – so we are surrounded by girls and wouldn’t have it any other way! Our family lives all over from Ft. Lauderdale to Charlotte, North Carolina. We love going to visit them every chance we get.

One interesting fact about yourself? I was part of student government every year of school starting in third grade. I was my senior class president at the most populated high school in the entire nation.

Why did you choose to work at Rainbow Pediatric Center? When I met the team I could tell that they truly care about the
families that walk through the door and place a special emphasis on being approachable and accessible. I also appreciate
how Dr. Reddy and the rest of the team strive to implement the latest and greatest so they can best serve the
healthcare needs of kids in Jacksonville.

What do you enjoy about working with kids? Kids have such a fresh and fun perspective on life. I love how children have
an inherent drive to grow and learn new things; it’s so rewarding to support that growth and partner with parents to
help kids thrive!

What is your area of expertise? Prior to joining Rainbow Pediatrics, I worked as a nurse for 6 years on the respiratory
floor at Wolfson Children’s Hospital. Whether your child is fighting RSV or managing asthma, my experience as a bedside
nurse has deepened my understanding of how best to provide care for respiratory conditions.

What do you enjoy doing when you are not at Rainbow Pediatrics? When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with
friends and family. I’m always up for a game night! You may also find me diving into a good book or podcast with a cup
